Providing Public Comment
Public Comment for NCTC online Commission meetings can be provided in the following ways:
You are welcome to submit written comments to the Commission via email.
Please send your comments to email@example.com by 3:00 pm the day before the meeting date.
Please include the words Public Comment and the meeting date and a brief title and/or agenda item number in the subject line, and limit your word count to 400 words.
Public Comment will be opened during the Public Comment time and for each agenda item
in sequence. Please use the Zoom “Raise Hand” feature when the Chair announces the agenda item.
Phone attendees: Press *9 to Raise Hand
Once your "hand" is raised and it is your turn to speak, the Chair, or the meeting facilitator, will unmute your microphone, then please give your name, and make your comment to the Commission.
The Chair may limit any individual to 3 minutes. Time to address the Commission will be allocated based on the number of requests received. After your Public Comment, your "hand" will be lowered and your microphone will be placed back on mute.
